My first post!

Hey there . . . I am Buttons . . . Welcome to the first of what I hope are many posts about my travels around the world. This is my first trip ever with my family, The Kane's . . . what a group they are. There's Peyton - she's the youngest. She's just about as feisty as I am. Smart as a whip, too . . . Then there's the mom,  Heather. What a peach that one is. Beauty and Brains all wrapped into one! She's the official travel agent of the family. Then there's Paul. He's the dad. Don't get me started on him . . . goofball is about the best way to describe him.

So for our first trip together, the Kane's brought me to Niagara Falls - that would the be Canadian side . . . they smuggled me as I don't have a passport yet, but we made it across with no issues!

Here we are at our hotel room . . . 

And because Adventure is my middle name, we scored some sweet Adventure Passes. This got us tickets to  see the Falls up close and personal. It also got us free passes to ride the bus anywhere we wanted. I could walk it all, but these stubby legs of mine would have held us back a bit . . . 

Paul likes to think of himself as a photographer, but he needs some help with just about everything. I had to wake him up so he wouldn't miss this spectacular sunrise over the falls. Very lazy, that one . . . 

Finally down to view the falls . . . They are MASSIVE!!!

And because danger is my middle name - er, wait - adventure is my . . . darn it! Ok! It's both. Here I am laughing in the face of danger and a posted sign. See how tough I can be!

Lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe in Niagara. I am told the Kane's like to visit every Hard Rock they can find . . . this is my first one, but I can't wait to visit the others!

For the last night of the trip, we went atop the Skylon Tower for some spectacular views of the falls. 

That's it for Niagara Falls . . . I am told that in a couple weeks, we'll be headed into New York City to see a play on Broadway with Peyton's cousins! Can't wait to show you those pics!!
